As a parent, I couldn’t be happier with the hitting and catching lessons my daughter Audra receives from Coach Jerri Schlickenmayer.  She has been receiving lessons from Coach Jerri for the past 7 years. He has been professional, encouraging, and incredibly knowledgeable about the game. He has a great way of breaking down catching skills—whether it’s blocking, receiving, or footwork—so that kids not only understand what to do but also why it matters. In addition to catching lessons, my daughter has also improved her hitting skills under Coach Jerri’s instruction.  It is clear that he not only has a deep knowledge of hitting mechanics but also a real talent for teaching. He breaks things down in a way that’s easy to understand and gives practical drills that immediately improve confidence at the plate. 

Beyond hitting and catching mechanics, Coach Jerri also teaches the mental aspects of softball, including approach, discipline, and confidence, making the lessons valuable for both on-field performance and overall growth as a player.  If you’re looking for a coach who is knowledgeable, supportive, and truly invested in helping players succeed, Coach Jerri is the one to go to. I would absolutely recommend Coach Jerri to any parent looking for a coach who brings out the best in their athlete.
